Back in April I decided to experiment with making a veggie patch (a tattie patch to be precise) with the help of some cardboard and muck.
First, I laid out some old planks of wood to define the size of the bed. Tan helped!
Then I laid out a load of old cardboard boxes, weighing them down [...]
Nuff said.

Well I’ve been tinkering with the page, and also with our other web site www.latitude59.co.uk . I’ve replaced ‘Blogroll’ with ‘Links’ simply because when I make a shopping list that includes toilet paper, the item in question looks remarkably like ‘blogroll’ – but with one less ‘L’ .

Having set up this blog last month I thought I’d better take the plunge – only now, I’ve got writer’s block! It’s funny how that always happens, right from memories of me as a youngster being encouraged to write thank-you letters to my ‘elders and betters’ for various Christmas/birthday presents. I’d pick a nice note-let [...]
